A helpfully desktop, plenty of gadgets. Despite this, consumption is very low, thanks to the plugin bbmemlimiter. (Total consumtion of the shell: 2 Mb of RAM & 5% of CPU usage.)
@netwalker72 Thanks for sharing your experience in windows shells. I'll try emerge and give BBlean another chance.
Litestep has that beautiful thing that you can download someone's skin without having you yo know a shit about the program. Can you do the same with BBLean or Emerge?

I have bbLean 1.16. It's definitely a great shell! I'm using it already about five years. But is there any reasons to install last version of it?

@Bayonetta4 Litestep is more complicated than BB´s and resource hungry...I give a try some time ago, and don´t like so much....
But are another good shell replacement out there...Emerge Desktop.
Is fast, simple and have a nice minimalistic look. Don´t have compatibility issues with programs too...
BBLean & Emerge will be my choices...and believe me: I try (almost) all shells in existence... :D
Good luck!

Yep. BBLean was created with the XP in mind. So, because this feature, lacks in compatibility with others Windows.
Try Xoblite or Cameo instead BBLean, maybe you got more lucky in all referring about compatibility.
