I'm a 16-year-old from Italy, and ilove English. Recently I wanted to learn more about English accents, and particularly about Geordie accent, which is said to be the most beautiful accent. And that's right because i think it's so fascinating, the pronunce, the words, everything! Im definately going to try to study that.

If you personally lived outside the US in somewhere like the UK then you'd get it. The same way anybody views their country differently after having lived outside it for a length of time.

People also hate America for Fox News which is ironic considering it's owned by an Australian who has a significant number of British media outlets.

there's more US cultural saturation of the UK and Ireland. The reverse is either niche or stereotyped. That's why so many British and Irish actors can do convincing American accents due to the level of exposure.

To any Americans who may be interested, I would recommend that you watch a DVD that's been out for some years called...'Aufwiedersehn Pet' It about a group of Geordie 'brickies' working abroad on a German building site. It's hilarious...lol!!
