  • What is the name of the knitting needles you are using? I've never seen a set like that and I'm in the market for a new one.

  • @alexisluvsmovies01 Hi Alexis! I'm using a set of Denise Interchangable needles. You can probably find them at your local yarn store.

  • How many do you cast on?

  • @DeviantSheep 8 stitches.

  • I'm on scarf number 8 now! I have also tried most of the other Katia wools but there seems to be a countrywide shortage, managed to order some on line today.

  • @suedavies2003 It's the end of March now. I've heard Triana and Rizos are back in stock and shipping to local yarn stores across the US. :-)

  • My name is Triana.............

  • Did you know that you can also purchase this type of yarn from CREATIVE FIBER ARTS I think their prices are excellent!

Hi, All! I just finished my first one a couple of days ago. I folded over the beginning and the end of the scarf material so the raw ends were more hidden. I matched the holes and used the doubled over netting as one. I

then took a matching pearl cotton and kind of stitched the string ends up even more after I finished it. I imagine sewing thread would also work, just double the thread. I like it better than leaving the rough ends out.

  • @IsRasna You work until you are almost out of yarn, then bind off in the traditional manner--knit two, pass first st over, knit one, pass stitch over, etc. Then I pulled the end of the yarn through the last loop to secure it and just kind of worked the left over tail into the last row and just made sure it wouldn't fall out. The scarf was so ruffly the end wasn't noticeable.

  • How do you bind off since there's no tail?
