Stephen Schneider might just be in a hotter place now. The guy was the ultimate junk scientist. Stanford University ought to be ashamed for their behavior. Their actions were truly despicable and they need to be called out for it.

You sure do have a very negative view of Muslims. That is probably why your closed your account

@nellieou That's actually untrue, completely. The scientific data shows that the sun has not increased in the output of heat since the 1970s, according to the Australian Academy of Science. I don't know what scientific data you're talking about.

@nellieou I would hardly call our CO2 emissions tiny.

Even if the earth was warming, there would be less hurricanes. You need cold air and warm are to make a hurricane just like a tornado.

@SIM2402 And you anti-communist anti-environmentalists are dangerous totalitarians who kill and suppress just as many hard-working environmentalists and environmentally conscious people as the communist and theocratic (Saudi Arabia) regimes do. You must be stopped before you spread further.

@mphello ura dangerous nut. You have totalitarian leanings...

To all AGW-deniers: come back when you have published your "work" on climate science in a peer-reviewed climate journal article. Until then, STFU!
"Naturally, someone who had professed the coming of the next ice age in the 1970s would be a bit less believable if he were professing that global warming was the planets current state"
Wow, so why is there a video of him talking about global warming in 1979 then? See greenman 3610 to see what I mean. So why do you engage in blatant falsehoods?

The "coming Ice Age" predictions were made by the media, not by scientists. There's not a single peer-reviewed paper published between 1965-79 that predicted a coming Ice Age, and merely 7 expected a gl. cooling.
Though Schneider predicted a gl. cooling in the early 70s, he never said it would be a new Ice Age. Already in the late 70s, after new research results were published, he changed his views. Watch an interview with Schneider from 1979: watch?v=pB2ugPM0cRM&feature=channel_video_title
