  • Closet case, you are so gay!

  • @MrReviewingMovies Bitch please. I don't even own a closet.

  • Thats it!You are now my favourite youtube-reviewer. A few gems on your list that I haven't seen so I guess it's time to get to work on that... One of my favourites of the year that wasn't on your list was "Terri".

Really glad to see a list that left out "Warrior" and added a classic Rutger Hauer-flick insead:) You know your shit! Looking forward to future reviews!

  • @m4em4e Thanks so much! I have no idea why everyone was obsessing over Warrior, it was bland. I really want to see Terri but for some reason it hasn't had a UK release :S I'll definitely check it out when I get a chance - I love John C. Reilly.

  • I love your reviews, and I'd love to hear your take on Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy!

  • @barefootfiona Thanks :) I liked TTSS. Gary Oldman was flawless and it was directed to perfection - it created a wonderful mood. Ultimately, I found it to be unfulfilling though with a lack of payoff. It ended too quickly. Still a great movie to bathe in for a while though even if it didn't stay with me.

Oh, and the score was GORGEOUS. Alberto Iglesias is a genius.

  • @FilmArtReview I have to agree with Sean. It was kinda attached to it and didn't hold as firm. Dinosaurs...well they were creatures who lives before us, so I liked that he used them as part of evolution example. I liked the symbolism at the end. It might have been quite pretentious and maybe too much but mostly it was great. You just like cutting stuff! U used this with other films too. Uncut scenes are harder to do I like them, gives them closer attention. Respect ur opinion tho.

  • @lukosius1221 Sean Penn shouldn't have been in in the film at all, the dinosaur sequence was a huge misstep, it was too long and needed some more harsh cutting and the symbolism at the end was too on the nose.

  • @FilmArtReview Can I ask what kind? I am really curious to hear what you have to say.

  • @fabittyfab I haven't seen all of the nominees yet so I don't feel prepared enough to talk about them. I will most likely make a hopes and predictions video closer to the time. The nominee choices never make much sense - not a single one of my top 10 ended up in the best picture category. However, they never nominate films like Drive and Meek's Cutoff so it seems pointless complaining about their absence. I always do though :)
