@raran44 This actually was at the time and it cost USD$20 billion at the time. Usually when Hong Kongers say it, they are telling the truth whereas when my countrymen (India) say it, they usually are lying because it is sort of nationalist propaganda where they get really happy if anything is done properly in the country.

@wilsonshinkansen u do realize, it became UK territory, because of the opium war.. that the UK started, first by giving the chinese opium, for silk and so forth.. making millions addicts.. for economic wealth.. and then the UK goes and sends a fleet and attacks the chinese, because the emperor, decided opium wasnt healthy for the country.. so yes it is a great country, soaked in greed, guilt, and blood.. but anyway, that was a 100 years ago or more.. let it be forgotten..
