@trucknut324 one of your idler pulleys looks to be on the wrong side of the belt.

Good job, I've never seen rubber tires being used as drive and driven pulleys for saw blades but if it works then bonus point as you get the large diameter without the costs and weight of large steel pulleys. Innovative. I'm thinking of making a small portable unit but this one is imaginitive. In general many great mechanical parts can be found ultra cheap from a vehicle you are about to scrap. Engine blocks can be converted into a mini lathe/mill-google it.

Not that I understood everything, but you did a great job explaining what you had.
nice job. my first peek at the commercially built ones and their pricing made me gag. do you know about how much you have in all the parts on this? i bet you saved a bundle.
