Written by Charlie himself, this first version was recorded at Groove Records and was the B-side to "Lady Love." I don't have more information about this, as I've yet to get it on CD, but what more has to be said other than the fact that this WAS Charlie Rich?! R.I.P. 7/25/95

I think this is one of not only Charlie Rich's finest somgs but one of the finest blues ballads of all time. Charlie Rich wqas so talented and versatile ,it's a crying shame his earlier recordings are not better known .Ray Charles could have done a great version of this also but Charlie nails it !
