There isn't a huge difference bewteen AMD and Intel. AMD makes the better price/performance CPU and Intel makes the more expensive but faster CPU. The fastest AMD CPU costs $200 and the fastest Intel can run you over a grand by itself.
An i7 isn't really needed for games. Most games just need a powerful GPU and a dual core.

una pregunta amigo el intel core i7 si le gana por mucho al amd phenom x6 black edition es que quiero hacer un cambio de procesador pero no se cual comprar ya que lo quiero para todo trabajar, pasar rapidamente datos y jugar los ultimos juegos de video como el napoleon total war, need for speed hot pursuit, cual es mejor cual me recomiendas agredeceria mucho tu ayuda, perdon por molestar saludos.

@LUISLAWRENCE99992009 Actualmente, los dos procesadores son buenos... lo i7 tendrán un poco más de rendimiento pero su precio incluido el de la tarjeta madre para ese procesador son bastante más elevados... así que... si tienes dinero, ve por el i7... sino ve por el Phenom, que no está nada mal.
