It's cuz everyone thinks they want to make the bike faster!! which really hardly changes a thing with a slip on.
But I definitely agree with you about the steering dampener

for almost all 848 clips i have seen, ppl put on all the carbon kits, expensive exhaust, or even the whole kit. But they don't put on the steering dampener which is the first thing I put on this beauty, I am puzzled...

not full system exhaust. just airfilter and chip! gives some more Horse Power but the sound is great!!!
