something i discovered is that before you tie on the maribou take 2 or 3 strips of flash 4 to 4.5 inches and tie it right behind the rib make sure its longer than the maribou and dont over do it once you get the hang of it you will be ripping out smallmouth
fish in little pools where current is easy slowly pull around rocks with a little twitch let the current wiggle the flash this is what catches the small mouth enjoy

Now is hackle a special thing or will a feather with a thin stem work???? could use advice from anybody please respond!!!

dude im soo damn pissed...ive never seen a wooly bugger that perfect...im soo damn jealous...i get get sum from you T_T i got 2 wooly buggers and their tail is sooo small...the shop guy was cheap to use the maribou feather...
