I'd rather take my chances on some random billionaire helping the economy, than relying on the government to do it.

  • George Bush was a fiscal LIBERAL, and there is no hiding that. And why should the pockets of the wealthy and corporations be a copout for government to dip their hands into whenever they need a quick buck? How about some fiscal responsibility? Bush racked up about $2.5 trillion in debt in his administration (which DID include democrat congress), but Obama's budget is projected to bring us about $5 trillion more in debt, almost TWICE as much as Bush's deficit. That's the "change" he promised...

  • Yes because reaganomics and bush's trickle down worked perfectly...

  • I agree COMPLETLY

  • @MrWhitey101 No, you don't understand recent history.

There were TWO recessions under Bush, one after the dot-com bubble burst and the other recession after real-estate market collapsed. Basic economics less for you: in recessions, governments get less revenue. Now your analogy completely falls apart. Yes, Bush increased the deficit, but Obama has added a whopping $6.5 trillion to the debt, mostly thanks to obamacare and stimulus spending.

I bet you voted for Obama in '08.

  • @OddRobb If you can't understand basic economics, then you wont understand why debt increased faster under Obama.

Bush inherited a SURPLUS, Obama didn't. Example: If I have 2 kids, and I give one 20k cash to start life after college, & the other I give 10k in credit card debt, guess whose debt will climb faster simply because of interest on that debt?

Fundamentally I agree with Bob that conservatives are for a smaller government. But Bush was a joke. I support Ron Paul.

  • @rrobjchilds i have a feeling that right wingers liked your comment, not picking up on the sarcasm lololol

  • I totally agree with what he's saying. And you wonder why I don't trust the govt.

  • I LOVE DRINKING WITH BOB CAUSE HE IS RIGHT AND YES EVEN THE YELLING AND SCREAMING I TOTALLY AGREE WITH HIM ON ALMOST EVERYTHING

  • @rrobjchilds actual reagan and bush had two totally different economic philosophies. reagan cut spending for everything but the military while bush did the opposite

  • @rrobjchilds Lower taxes alone will do jack shit. It has to go along with monetary reform, stopping these bullshit wars and weening dependents off of their free lunch... You Tube "The Money Masters" or "The Secret of Oz".

  • @rrobjchilds But hey if you like our country being in perpetual war keep calling for higher taxes and bigger government... Our taxes are feeding a monster... Spread democracy? give me a fucking break...

  • @rrobjchilds The government expanded under both those presidents... and that is why it didn't work. You can't cut taxes and keep the government same size much less expand it. Do you not agree that waste is rampant in our government? Put it this way if someone gives you money the chances you are going to waste it is a lot higher. If you work for your money chances are lower you are going to waste it considering you have an idea what it took to get the money.
