dude....i also have z5500...and u really must get an optic cable...the sound is amazing...not on the regular shitty cables that u get with it...TRUST ME!

Judging by the Logitech sign's motion, (due to a sucky camera) that sub hits pretty hard.

whats with the crappy sound quality in all these z5500 bass tests... i can crank mine and it sounds perfect.. i have an xfi in my PC, modded with larger capacitors and better audio output chips (forget what they called, i modded it a long time ago). Maybe its cause i dont listen to gangsta rap which is heavy on the bass...

Are you really THAT dumb? My microphone isnt that great, that explains the quality on the recordings. That has nothing to do with the actual subwoofer itself, it sounds perfect on my HDA Setup.
