I don't think the question is talent, it is more about the use of the name. There are a lot of great singers out there but they don't use someone elses name when they perform. Bill Pinkney was the last surviving member of the original 1953 group and is entitled to the use of the mark. I don't believe it would be right if I built a car and put the Ford/Chev/Dodge etc. name on it. Let us give credit where it is due and any group wishing to TRIBUTE another should be billed as such.

These Legendary Drifters are a collective composition of extremely talented and credentialed individuals. We have no doubt that they will always please their audience. It's not only the talent that we perceive; they exude warmth and friendliness to their audience and it is welcomed with cheers, shouts of "please don't stop", and applause. Not everyone posesses that ability. We support every one of these men and we are proud to do so.
