This is ridiculous pal , genocides can not be prevented by being amitted , they could only be prevented by force , force under a suppreme authority, which world doesn't have one unfortunately. The truth is balkans and caucasus weere deturked in times of ww (and a bit earlier) and turk de-christianized the anatolia, as simple as that. If there were a suppreme force it could prevent these actions (suffered by both turks and christians) then maybe it could prevent genocides.

@ogut25 The term Genocide was created by a Jewish lawyer called Rafael Lemkin when he first heard of the Ottoman government's mass killings of its Armenian Christian population during the First World War. Lemkin wanted the Turks to admit their action so history will not repeat itself, unfortunately the Turks are still in denial therefore the holocaust and other genocides happened.

You know why we want it admitted? To preserve the honor of our ancestors your government slaughtered. They didn't get decent burials with bones in mass graves in Syria and even Turkey; recognition is all we can do to honor their memory.
