Fr. Barron, when I look to the Gospel accounts I see Jesus practicing non-violence in every respect. When his main man Peter tries to exercise what we would call just defense, he tells him to put the sword away. And after all, he himself took the cross as his last pre-ressurection message. Even with just war doctrine, how can we neglect what Jesus clearly left as an example? I couldn't picture Jesus holding an AK-47 even in severe injustice. More thoughts on my ironic devil's advocate?

father another example is Benigno Aquino from the Philippines. He used the principle of non violence as well and was martyred in 1983.
