Cine film transfer of Shenley Brook End village in 1977, you can see the old triange junction for Whaddon Road / Shenley road which is no longer there and also the old cast iron sign post which was 'accidentally' knocked over by a lorry in 1979 and taken for scrap. Later in the clip you will see us looking towards Mr Daniels farmhouse over the field (this is looking towards where Tompkins Close is now) then walking on the section of path (previously the old lane up to Howe Park woods) which is now the overgrown section of path between Copes Haven and Wallinger Drive, the huge Oak tree is clearly visible in the clip and is still there today in the garden of a house.
