*UPDATE* 12/2/08
I recently switched to a 4ga power wire and I am now running it to a distribution block and running two 8ga power wires to my two Infinity amps. I'm powering the 6x9s with my amp that I just hooked up. Also this sub hits a WHOLE lot harder now with more power going to it.
I'm new to this whole car audio thing as I'm sure many of you experts can tell by my video lol. I only buy Polk Audio speakers(for my home theater system and my car system) so I know its not NEARLY has loud as Kickers, or some other brand known for being so loud you cant even listen to your music. I'm going for SQL not SPL.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, as long as they are helpful ones, not like "Buy some Kicker subs man they will blow your Polk away" I know that MANY other brand of subs would be louder then this one and I could save a whole lof of money if I bought those to but I'm not going for people being able to hear me from blocks away lol.

  • How is this song called?

  • trunk raddler ;O

  • @Pfhor7 the reason it sounds bad is because you can't record bass, and the obvious fact that you are listening to it through you computer...

  • Those subs are hooked up wrong look at the direction the cone is going in, it's moving inward. The cone should be moving outward.

  • That subwoofer is on the edge of dying, you can see the surround flexing and twisting heavily (@ 2:27)

  • how do those tweeter sound were u have them????

thinking bout installing mine same place, tell me how they are there

  • @HaveSomeQuark it's the camera you stupid ass

  • I can already tell that sub is at 1 ohm by the way it ripples like that. That won't last more than a year before replacement time

  • you think that sounds good? LOL

  • Damn. That sub can handle A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn I think that mine would shit itself if it was putting out so much excursion.. But like you, money is also tight for me and that's why I'm rocking 90's 10'' Rockford Fosgate Punch XLC subs. Haha
