A concert version of the OP theme to Mobile Suit Gundam performed by legendary anime/tokusatsu singers Akira Kushida (Space Sheriff Gavan), Ichiro Mizuki (Mazinger Z), Isao Sasaki (Getter Robo), and Hironobu Kageyama (Dragonball Z). This song was performed from the BS Eien no Ongaku "Anime Shudaika Daizenshuu" Concert series from Japan TV Station NHK, which occurs on a yearly basis.

Isao sasaki did openings for things like Getter robo, which is older than gundam is, and has done frequent mecha anime openings, then theres Ichiro Mizuki, who did the opening for Mazinger Z, and hes known greatly for it.
