@RogerSquawk Because some players (including myself) play better with placement off center. Best mouthpiece placement is quite personal and should be based on what works well and feels comfortable, not what looks most centered.

the only good part about this is that you're using a xeno instead of a strad. back doesnt care about any of their products now that they're a big name brand

I think is not an embouchoure checking but a sound. I'd seen a lot of videos of trumpet technic but nothing better than Jonathan Harnum. A real trumpet player and teacher
