How to convert a "dead" PDF (ie. a PDF with texts as graphics) using Wordfast Anywhere (www.freetm.com)

  • Can one also upload JPGs? Or must one convert it to PDF first?

  • @ugcheleuce No, it has to be PDF. You can use PDF Creator (or equivalent) to convert your JPG to PDF.

  • Thank you very much and congratulations for such clear instructions: I am going to put your video on my second screen while working on the computer on a PDF and I think it should be dead easy to carry out a test. I have been technically impaired with PDFs for such a long time..

  • Great job, Dominique! We all encounter "dead" PDF docs sooner or later. I just tested the procedure with a "live" PDF and it worked very well. The last step you suggest while in Word made all the difference.
