Marte's reef is certainly unique. It houses an open rock layout and millions of fish.

  • very cool, im just getting in to aquariums and i got a free 30gal tall tank. if down the line i want to try salt water sould i get a shorter longer tank? i was thinking about a year from now getting a blue spotted sting ray"amazing!" can i still have coral or should i stick with sand for the ray?

  • You will need a much bigger tank than you have now; at least 200 gallons. With stingrays length and width is much more important than height as it provides more "floor area". You will definitely not be able to keep coral with the stingray and you shouldn't use too much liverock as it will block the stingray's path as it swim along the sand. By the way I am not Marty Meneses. Hope this helps.

  • beautifull tank and set up since i saw your tank i have started feeding my tank rotifers and plankton and mysis and brine shrimps, blood worms varity of foods. good luck and please bring more vidoes since your tank motvates to stay in the hobby

    happy reefing

  • Every video/tank is better than the last. Very inspiring, and very jealousy provoking. Want to see a large SPS predominant tank with 100% T5 some time...

  • The unidentified tang is a Spot face surgeonfish (Acanthurus maculiceps). Nice tank.

  • that tang looks like a cheveron tang when they get older they start to lose their cool pattern and become black

  • ARE YOU PINOY? I LOVE YOUR REEF TANK. HOW DO YOU FEED YOUR CORALS, AND WHAT KIND OF FOOD ARE YOU USING? THANKS.

  • beautiful tank man

  • @TobytheAquariumGuy Hey Marty one more question in addition to what maked of Metal Halides pendants do you have is,what make of bulbs do you use? I love the shimmer in your tanks. You are a great custodian by the looks and comments that you make.Cheers
