Precisely so. The organized religions are power structures and have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with spirituality or any deep need to understand the universe and the nature of "being". Thus attacking power structures would be a good fit for a religious group or any nation, tribe or gang.

If the September 11th attacks were religiously motivated then why weren't any religious structures attacked? Seems the only structures attacked or determined for attack were financial, political or military in nature.
