Trade has become a hot and much discussed political topic. Both Democratic candidates have criticized NAFTA and other free trade agreements for hurting U.S. workers. Last month the Bush administration`s proposed Colombia free trade agreement was blocked in the House of Representatives. Other proposed trade deals with South Korea and Panama could also face tough scrutiny. I talked about the issue recently with the U.S. trade representative, Susan Schwab.

are you people going to deny that this has become more about election politics than what's best for our economy. And explain why she is a traitor???

Schwab is one of the greatest charlatans alive. Buzzwords, propaganda, totally disregards to the facts. Ad hominem against organized labor, and no acknowledgement that Bill Clinton didn't pay attention to his labor support, but passed NAFTA....Pelosi now looks at the facts and refuses to kick away the ladder on people like Colombia..
