These are actually Fujitec. If you go to LL and look at the counterweight it says fujitec. And i tried to film the hotel elevators and the staff were all over the place but they were very nice elevators

@VancouversLocalNerd By the way, I really like you're elevator videos. You're really doing a fantastic job. I also really like the Downtown Vancouver Elevator Selection video on you're channel. It's really cool, I never knew that you can do that on YouTube, that's pretty neat, and I like it.

@VancouversLocalNerd You should visit Calgary and Toronto. Calgary has a building called Bankers Hall West with awesome High Speed Otis Elevators. (Elevonic 411) I think. And Toronto has a lot of High Speed Otis Elevators, and many other brands of elevators. You should visit there when you get a chance. One day you should vist these places. But Vancouver is very beautiful as well.
Can you please try to film the High Rise elevators here? Isn't this the tallest building in Vancouver? Doesn't it have 62 floors?
Try to get on the high rise elevators that go to 62. if they are locked, then they are locked, but if they are not, and you could ride them, that would be awesome. Maybe see if you can follow someone on and when they swipe their key, ride up with them or something.
Awesome Video!

Normally there is a locked door between the lobby and the hi-rise elevators however once out of a stroke of luck i was able to get on them only to find they require keycards :(

@VancouversLocalNerd Try waiting for someone who has a key card to get on, then ride up with them. Then ride back down.

Probably not worth the trouble, they only go about 800 FPM, and have pretty basic cabs, the vintage Otis at 805 West Broadway (only 19 floors) are faster. Condo buildings typically don't have the awesome high speed elevators that office towers and hotels do because of the lower traffic. FYI the hotel elevators only go up 15 floors, the rest of the building is residential.
