@justin8910 You said that ''obviously technique and skill level has improved..''.This is wrong and dangerous for your boxing career if you have one.Skill and technique improve in the face of danger(experience that is) because many fights means constant danger.So these ''old'' fighters HAD TO develop SKILLs and technique in order to prevail or survive.On top of that,thanks to their extensive experience their bodies were much better accustomed those polished boxing techniques.PEACE!

If you really want to figure out what these legends are doing in this clip,activate the super slow motion and read the books i mentioned in my previous comment.

GIRLBUNZ Are you comparing automobile/airplanes to boxing?Wrong as hell.Boxing has not evolved.Boxing can't evolve nowadays.In fact the boxing which is being taught in most countries is based on the fighters and textbook knowledge of the 60's.Dempsey,Tunney,Corbett,Fi
tzsimmons,Jack o Brien and others had all written books about gloved boxing .They can be found in Lulu.com.Boxers of the past 50 years had little to no boxing experience compared to the boxers i mentioned above.Read.Compare.Comment -
@samuraidm Technically he doesn't box like a Tommy Loughran or Gene Tunney but he beat both those fighters. Being unorthodox doesn't matter if it gets you results, look at Ali or Jones Jr., Jack Dempsey or Joe Calzaghe, Marciano, or Sergio Martinez. All of these men had extremely unorthodox styles but they were all incredibly successful because they unique natural abilities that replaced textbook technique.

@GIRLBUNZ really...5 months ago...and i look at the vid again....still lmao...get a life chick, or dude...or whatever.

@samuraidm Everything evolves. Look at the first automobile/airplanes. These old fighters were tough as nails and were great in their own time. Just like the fighters of today. There is no comparing the two. It's the fabric of fairy tales. If you don't like the style of the old sparring matches or respect the likes of Greb, Tunney, Gans, or Pep. Suck a Hot Dog and enjoy deez nuts. Ye ole master of opinion!!

i cannot believe the idiot samuraidm, clearly knows shit all about boxing and another standard keyboard warrior. Greb is one of the all time pound for pound boxers, comparing him to today's fighters is like comparing computers now and in the past..simply impossible...obviously technique and skill level has improved thats what humans do..but he was truly great in his time. Grammar police + warrior = tool

@maorichainsaw first off...it's impossible to for a fighter of today's standards to have 300+ fights, today's skill level, regulations would prohibit that. If 2 guys jump around the ring like a couple of kangaroos slapping at each other makes them boxers, then I'm the fool cause i should've been a boxer. Also, check your grammar, are you asking me a question with Mr. Greb's sack down your throat? Where's the technique, establish the jab, slip, slip, counter...punch from the ground up?? ROTFLMAO
