Presentation of the Motif Waveform Editor from John Mêlas for Motif XS on Windows Seven,
Copying and managing voice with samples, without sample duplication, edit or creating new waveforms, import wav, aif, aiff and Sound Fount 2 samples to create new waveforms, edit keybank (samples) with loop editor : zoom function, normalize, loop cross fade, alternating loop, trim. The software is available on the John Mêlas web site in demo version or for sale.

  • is it possible to import own sounds like drums into the mo6 too?

  • @peetfreak The MO don't have sampling capacity, you cannot import samples.

    If you have technical questions, please ask them on Motifator forum.

  • @papaphoenix you can import wav. files to the motif xs6.....

  • @chuckdamailman You can open an Motif XS all, all voice or all waveform file, already save on your computer, and load it in the Motif Waveform editor, edit waveforms , keybanks, import samples, sound font2 ... ..... save the file on your computer, and load the file on your Motif XS.

    You cannot acces directly to samples who are present in dimms on the Motif XS from the Waveform Editor.

  • @papaphoenix shows how much i know!!lol I have a motif and didnt even read the manual nor do i know how to load sounds...... hell i dont even know how to sample. the only thing i managed to do was to install these dimm cards... and make patterns.. ever since i got my axiom pro with hyper control, and logic pro 9, i haven't as much as touched my motif.. i should start to try and learn some of the features before i start to make statements about the unit...
