@MissB2TheLynn yes the dog is struggling with Millan until it shuts down. You know human victims describe a similar experience in which they get to a point in which they just shut down and stop fighting. Not to compare the seriousness, but it speaks to a common behavioral response among all mammals that you guys seem to refuse to acknowledge.

@AboutDogTraining3 Did it really look like that dog was attacking Ceasar when he rolled him to his back in submissive position? Cause I didn't see it. Looked to me like he stopped moving and relaxed.
-
@MissB2TheLynn, no when the dog offers the behavior that's fine. When you have to fight the dog to get it on it's back, its abusive and dangerous to both of you.

I don't agree with the adjustable knot on the leash. I see he loosened it, but I still think that it just shouldn't be used at all. However, rolling the dog onto his back in a submissive position is a proper technique. It can be made pleasant for the dog and it does in fact calm him. Dogs usually go into a submissive position when their bellies are being rubbed. :)

selten so einen unfähigen "Trainer" gesehen. Er sollte doch sein kynologisches Fachwissen weiterbilden bevor er so so ein schlechtes Video einstellt :((

@TheMythcrusher Do you really believe people are better at training dogs just because they have the title "Dr." behind their name? That is so far from true. The best trainers I know, do not have high degrees, and honestly....many aren't even "certified" for that matter. It takes real experience and learning from other trainers, and working many, many dogs. While I don't agree with all of Cesar's methods, he can offer good knowledge and advice at times.

it was so hard to convince my mom that pitbulls can be loving animals and that they are loyal. and it depends tottaly in the owner in my opinion if a dog is aggresive or not.. my dog is not agresive infact she is the most loving dog i know when wants to play with children she crawls to them its so cute..

In my opinion this man should be prosecuted for animal abuse and kept away from dogs. He is clearly strangling an already scared and stressed dog. This problem would be easily solved by any qualified (which Millan is unfortunately not) behaviorist using proven procedures (counterconditioning, desensitization - as needed). Check the sites of real professionals (Dr. Sophia Yin, Dr. Ian Dunbar) for tips on how to solve such problems easily without having to strangle your dog while doing it.

my dog is like that too, but he only wants to play fight! you think he's serious, but he likes to wrestle around!
its an animal, not a human!! so you have to discipline it in that manner. the techniques used by Cesar is what would happen naturally in the "dog/animal world". It's all you people who treat your animals like humans who F5#ck their lives up
