Theres bars inside the log beside you, I squeeze my legs around the seat and hold on the bars as tight as it can!

Our kids lifted out of their seats a tiny bit, but it just made the ride more thrilling. I think they would have had major issues by now if it was really unsafe. They've been doing it like that for like 40 years or something. Physics prevail, and alas the bodies fall together, only separating slightly at first because they are not truly connected.
