Synopsis: The story takes place in the rural mountains of Colorado. A young man loses his fiancee to an aneurism and spirals into a state of deep depression. He makes a difficult choice to sell his home and leave his beloved state of Colorado to head back to his hometown in Ohio. Before heading back east the young man decides to take one last trip deep into the mountains to do some soul searching, his journey leads him to the The Stanley Hotel located amidst the desolate Rocky Mountains. The young man encounters a beautiful creole woman at the hotel and falls madly in love with her. The mystery surrounding the young woman could cost him his life. This is a love story with a strange twist and a very real moral to the story.

OK I just have to leave a comment...I got to this story by watching your other vids of Colorado, and I love to check out old ghost towns and historical places, too.
I'm not going to comment on your story itself, let's just say I find it amusing. I'm on CH 3 so far. BUT you used still photos to illustrate your story here...you WENT to Aspen and The Stanley, you should have used video here. Example, you have GREAT vid of you drivng in snowy mountains, but here you use BAD photoshop??

@bradster23420 yeah the audiobook ended up turning into a comedy lol Next time I will use a real female. I would have been better off having a blank screen instead of the pictures. This was made before I had access to Photoshop and a video editor. This was also made before I videotaped my trip to the stanley hotel.

I agree that is cool, and at the same time haunting. You should think about writing the script for short stories and letting a production company produce them. A friend of mine did that and got his work on the Sci fi channel.

Thanks for checking it out and the comment. That is awesome what your friend did. I want to write a script for this story. I think it would make an awesome movie. Paranormal romance movies are fairly rare. One of my favs is the movie Haunted (1995) with Kate Beckensale.
