Here is the Setup. 4th Quarter. These 3 plays are consecutive and have not been edited. South Stanly Rebel Bulls Division 1 (3rd & 4th graders) vs .. Unknown (I wish to protect the name of the Guilty Party) My Son, Ian Mullis #87 - Co-Captain plays Defensive Left Tackle for the South Stanly Rebel Bulls in this 3 play series. Prior to the Game , Ian had been wanting a $125 pair of MUCK BOOTS. You know the kind with the Bright Orange liner that you can stylishly fold down to reveal the peel ?. Anyway, I made a deal with Ian. "Son , if you get 2 Quarterback Sacks(1 for the Left Foot and 1 for the Right Foot) or 5 procuring cause tackles behind the line of scrimmage , I will get you your MUCK BOOTS the next day. Ian made 1 great tackle in the 1st half and quite a few assists but no Sacks. Ian starts on Offense and Defense and was playing just Offense because they were winning 42 to 0. Ian knew his "Opportunity" for MUCK BOOTS was slipping away. Ian was able to get back in the game when Coach Brown called for 1st Defense. Notice the 1st play, Logan Spivey # 52 for the Rebel Bulls hard tackles (Well Slings down) the Quarterback #7 in the back field . The Quarterback on his way back to the huddle,walks into the Rebel Bulls zone and gives # 52 a little Love tap in the back, makes a derogatory comment to # 52 and walks away. The entire Defense heard this comment and got their MOTIVATION ON. Probably not a wise move considering the next 2 plays(Plays 2 & 3). Play 2 , #87 gets his 1st Quarterback Sack of the game and 1 MUCK BOOT. Play 3 , # 87 gets his 2nd Quarterback Sack and his 2nd MUCK BOOT. Quarterback #7 was just a little "Rattled" after Play # 3. # 87 gives a Polite Look Down , Walks away , and does a little "Double Foot Pump Jump" to celebrates and then gets down to Business. The Quarterback had to "Think About It " before getting back on his feet. The 3rd play sent him to the sidelines for a little "R & R" . The Rebel Bulls Defense shut down the Opposing Teams Offense who remained Scoreless. B-T-W : Ian would like to play for the Carolina Panthers. PS.
