Go Trio & Viktorija Gečytė

GO TRIO ~ Propelled by American jazz bassist Gene Perla, formerly with Elvin Jones, Sonny Rollins, Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan, and Stone Alliance, Go Trio features pianist Sean Gough, a young man who continues to stretch the boundaries of the American Songbook, great jazz standards, and original compositions. They have been playing with many wonderful drummers, including Jon Arkin and Doug Hirlinger. Even as they mine the most familiar tunes, each musician's effortless attentiveness to the other guarantees a vital and spontaneous approach to music. In their short history, Go Trio has secured multiple performances at leading jazz venues, music festivals, and establishments featuring jazz.

VIKTORIJA GEČYTĖ ~ Viktorija Gečytė hit the stage at the age of five in her native Lithuania. She was soon touring festivals, other countries, recording and regularly appearing on TV as part of a local pop group. Some years later, influenced by the great American singers, Ms. Gečytė started feeling the swing and decided to continue solo. Her ease, sense of rhythm and strong low voice appealed to many ears and earned her international awards. She met Gene Perla and Sean Gough during her college years in the U.S., and is now preparing for the 4th tour to accompany their Go Trio with her "great pipes and phrasing."
