  • With all the unused surplus shipping containers setting in the ports around the world. Temporary housing is as simple as adding an insulated roof to block out the heat of the sun, some windows and a door to the containers. Other wise , the only answer in Haiti are "Earth Ships" made from the rubble. Temporary housing yes BUT! You must give them or teach them a way to build Permanent housing later. Earth Ship homes are ideal. The rubble is already there. They just need the know-how.

  • that will last about 5 minutes in a wind storm and people will die!!!!

  • Wait till angry haitian youths go around house tipping.

  • Great, a house that can be stolen in 15 minutes. Just when I thought there was one thing those colored COULDN"T steal. Sigh.

  • @rdelaplaza Those colored people can get in through a window in no time! You ever been to Detroit?

  • Correction: 4 containers; not $ containers.

  • I do not down grade this effort, because the folding idea is a well thought industrial design. But no bath room ?! But no kitchen? And it is small, it is about 8' x 20', too small to do much for not many people. Now let me do something for Haiti. $ containers @$2,000 ea. for 44 people from 4 families, sharing 2 full bath, 2 full kitchen, 2 living-dining rooms. It cost the goverment about $1,000 p.p. • @elizabethfaraone to answer your question elizabethfaraone, it gets so hot that you can fry an egg on the ass of Kevin Costner's cold career. Sincerely, Queen Elizabeth.

  • @RDELAPLAZA If you watched all the video at 5.55 they enter the building through the door.

  • Why would u put embalming fluid in a home?! That stuff is poison in any amount,to any living being!! These are nothing more than large coffins for whole families!!
