Before I return to the 70s and 80s uploads (I've been getting many requests for stuff in those decades), I thought I would upload the final Atlantic City show of 1990! This is Elton's final "true" concert before his rehab (he would only make an appearance at Knebworth Park after this show)! The quality is good--but the taper must have been having a bad day with his tape machine: The mix warps from stereo to mono throughout the recording, and sometimes the pitch fluctuates on songs. This may cause the listening experience to be a bit rough--but it shouldn't be too bad! Elton's voice sounds a little rough-around-the-edges, but it's still in good shape. Like the other two Atlantic City shows, the effects of his drug/alcohol use are noticeable on this concert (making up lyrics and music on songs)!

I don't know! It was like he just "dropped it" from the set-list. It's not like an "album-filler" live track like "Li'l 'Frigerator" (that was just played on one tour), it was on many tours. He was always playing and singing that song perfectly fine (and showed off his piano chops). he needs that back in his set-list!

@GregsynthWizard I agree! why doesn't he do that one anymore? It was a concert staple for years!

There's a lot of great songs he either hasn't done live in decades, or hasn't even done live! I think some of the songs are too far out of his current range, and maybe he's playing it safe live by sticking to mostly hit songs. Healing Hands is a great live number, and I wish he didn't drop I Don't Wanna Go On With You Like That!

@GregsynthWizard it is a shame it has been shelved, even though it was a #1 hit in the AC charts. I really wish he gave the community the songs they want to hear, not the same songs he has already been playing for almost 40 years straight.

@MsEcnerual it appears to have been played on the entire Australian leg. I have talked to fans who were there at the 1993 tour and I've seen proof in a newspaper review from Australia that confirms it.

Shame we don't have recordings! He could still pull that song off today (it's within his current range) if he revived it!
