bandit you have a good preset for metal, but I definitely suggest a valveking for the sound of tubes for blues, rock and clean. buy your effects seperately. try 'em, and listen carefuly to the marshal... i don't think its a good amp, the sound is harsh, the distorsion is fuzzy and nothing close to solid compared to metallica.

DONT BUY FOR : the look,girls, impress friends, and finally dont buy if you have been playin for a year.

BUY because you want a personnalized sound and you love playing.
