no this is saltwater there are different species that are fresh like gythorax tile sorry about the spelling but they are brackish freshwater eells

that should be fine. i read no less then 55 gallon tank. make sure to have plenty of rock for it to hide

No less then 50 gallons. The snowflake eel can grown up to 2 feet long
