This is a photo essay of the Isle of May set to the song The Isle of May. It is sung here by Ed Miller. The Isle of May, situated in the mouth of the Firth of Forth in Scotland. It is only one and a half kilometres long, yet is a haven for thousands of nesting sea birds and breeding seals who flourish on the steep sea cliffs and rocky shores. It has been a National Nature Reserve since 1965. There are impressive vertical cliffs all along the west coast teeming with seabirds in early summer. I went to the Isle of May last week and will never forget it.

@rottern I will never forget it either. I was there on a wonderful sunny day too. The puffins were raising their young and diving for eels.

Puffins! Yay!
Great slides! And I was originally looking for this SONG, because my daughter remembered it from an Ed Miller tape from years ago and said "You should sing that one at Open Mike Night!" and I said "Yes, I should!" and when I found your video with Ed Miller, she said "YouTube-Fu FOR THE WIN!"
I gotta find Ed's tour schedule. It's been too long! Thanks for posting this. I'm going to sing it TONIGHT, and make everybody do the harmonies...

Thanks, I love the Isle of May and saw many many puffins. I was very lucky the day was sunny and the whole thing was amazing. How wild I also happen to be a bg Ed Miller fan. I will see him in July in Edinboro, PA.
