This has always been my favorite song by Stevie, and I had just completed basic training in the Army. 9 weeks of no music, and when I purchased a CD player and head phones, I saw the new release of In Step, got it, and played this song first.

I got chills, and had a few tears roll down my face.

Stevie, you said it best.

My Birthday is one day after Jimi Hendrix', My sisters Birthday is one day after SRV's ....i was born one year after SRV died, and ive played guitar my whole life. Those facts are nothing more than strange coincidence =) but please..never stop listening or loving these musicians, they have died but must not fade away! ..peace =)
