"Ethical" Hunter says "let the deer lay up and die"

One only has to visit "tracking wounded deer" sites and read the advice that are given to other hunters by hunters to realize how much they could give a damn about the suffering of our animals. They want you to wait till you start retrieving the deer because although the deer will still be alive and very much suffering ,they want the animal to die by the wounds so they do not push the deer to run any further especially when it comes to the trophy deer. There is hardly any talk of mercy killing. Warning - they do love to fool the non-killing public with words like "ethical kill" "well placed shot", "30 second dispatch", "quickly harvested" , those are only pretty words because in realty sports hunters do not care and the animals die a horrible death. *This especially holds true with bowhunting




Whether deer run off and left wounded to die without being found or wildlife killers just waiting for the animals to die both ways is so horribly cruel and unnecessary pain and suffering.

Wildlife serial killing scums will go out of their way to let the buck deer lay up and die so they will not dare lose their trophy but as far as the does, if the does takes off it's no big deal and they just kill another, does are usually the wounded deer that are never retrieved.

Yes lets all save every deer out there..... with the way that they reproduce you'll be able to hit them with your car instead of using a bow or a firearm. Then our insurance companies can raise our rates. we may have higher rates but we'll still end up with meat in our ice boxes. That's interesting being DVA's has risen because of hunting and that if you carefully read wildlife management website they are so busy producing deer that is why you always see the word "produce" , "fawn crops", "supplement feeding', "food plots", "fawn recruits" "kill predators" which does not sound like their intention is long term reduction but to continue providing abundance of deer (especially the large antlered buck) for recreational killing.

Have you ever been hunting with a truely ethical hunter? I think not. We give that animal plenty of time to die so it doesn't feel persued and frightened. EVERY deer i've ever harvested died within 2 minutes of the first shot, gun or bow. But i still gave it time to die in peace and with some dignity. It's out of respect that you don't push the animal and lose it if an accident happens and you can't put the animal down quickly. It happens. But it's better to recover it than lose it and it rot!

1) Guess you missed Acts 10:13 "Arise, kill, eat."

2) We are the top of the food chain. You're right, without the weapons we would be almost defenseless. But we have the mental capacity to create said weapons thus we are at the top. We can kill and eat any animal on this planet, name one other creature that can do that.

3) Chasing a deer causes wounds to clot, but doesn't heal it. The deer still dies, you loose it, and it's a waste.
