i'm glad i'm not the only person who found that connection! i heard this long ago before the sample really reached the surface and desperately attempted to find a studio recording or something of the like, of this song on guitar.
in any case, this is absolutely beautiful and inspiring. i wish music like this was still...well, thriving.

Wow. I found a taste of Latin American bolero in your interpretation of this wonderful song, which adds to its magnificent melodic line. Where are you from? Is this just cultural influence or pure musical creativity? Whatever it was, the results are extraordinary. Congrats!
