Here's a third experiment with narrating a song as I play. I've added some text graphics and done a little editing/splicing (not always perfect -- remember, I'm a drummer not a doctor)

The ppl who complain about the narration are idiots, who must go around missing points for fun. This is a great video for Rush fans, non-rush fans, drummers, and non-drummers, or any musician. It's just marvelously well done and inspirational.

Good stuff. I liked the narration .As a fan of Peart with no drum expertise I was all ears as to the lingo or descriptions you use. Is that pretty universal within the bizz ?What is it that separates Peart from the pack, his speed ? His creativity and variations ?

@iamcyberpunk68 Hey, "CHIEF", there are at least two other renditions of this song on my site with no 'gabbin'. This is a "NARRATION", therefore, you could expect, well, some narration!

great playing...commetary a little much ...takes away from the great playing..
that comes from me and my 7 year son who is a drummer
its great.... but to much talking....don't take that in a bad way....just simplify the commentary.....we look forward to more great stuff from you. thanks.....

@cmyoung07 There are two other takes of Subdivisions without any commentary. One is in HD -- that's my preference. This was done with narration by request.
