I used a heat gun on my pain and it stripped off like paper then I sanded the primer off lol great job looks really nice !

I recommend that you stain with water-based stain and then use high-gloss lacquer. Both available at HD. Polyurethane is softer and can't be buffed to the same high gloss finish that lacquer can.You did such beautiful work: installing those Fender ''Noiseless'' pick-ups is a RIGHTEOUS mod! And I LOVE the decal! You deserve to have a deep deep glass-like finish to your guitar that only lacquer can achieve.BTW those modern Squire finishes CAN be stripped with ''Air Craft'' stripper (auto supply).

sweet!! I repainted one myself, it's really fun.
What kind of paint were u using? cause i'm thinking of making a lenny replica so i'll be needing a brown transparant paint, kind of like yours ;)
