Thanks so much for this demonstration. I tried to follow written instructions but they were confusing so this has helped a lot. If anyone in Australia is looking for good quality terry nappies go to the natures child website. They are more expensive than in the department stores from my experience but much better quality and keep baby drier.

My mum used terry nappies on both me and my sister, she tried disposables on holiday and discovered I was allergic to them and I used terries on my dolls, my cousin used disposables on all her children but I just can't work them so when I have children its terries all the way.

@skeletorphd They don't spend a fortune on this particular type, it is the cheapest way to cloth nappy.
Since they'll have your child sorted for 3 years or so it's a good investment. The initial lay out costs a bit but sposies cost waaay more in the long run.
It's worth spending 'a fortune' if it's beneficial for your wallet (in the long run), beneficial for your child (no nasty chemicals against their skin 24/7) and better for the environment.
Saying it costs a fortune is very short sighted.

My mum used to use Terry nappies on me, but they were smaller then what is shown here. Looked more like dish towels then nappies (then again, knowing my mum they probably WERE dish towels ;)

@Berryflowers where are you from? I'm from Australia and they are in Kmart, Target, Baby stores. We use terry nappies like Americans use prefolds.
