La canzone "Wings To Cross The Mountains"( Oregon, give me wings) di Daniel Moore, cantata al "Burt Sugarmam's midnight special" del 28 ottobre 1977 in duo con Debby Boone, non è mai stata incisa su disco.

Give me wings to cross the mountains
Give me strength to carry on
Let me gaze once more upon my homeland
Where I belong, where I belong,
Oregon
As a young man I left my home searching
For my fortunes and my soul
I took a lift south to California
A thousand miles back to Oregon
Give me shelter for my loved ones
To keep them warm against the rain
Take good care there down across the mountain
Back home again to Oregon

  • OH WOW... that is TOO funny... you MUST go for the blonde fair haired blue eyed cleancut men like me... lol

"a girl after my OWN heart"... NICE! does your hubby know you "think" he looks like David? lol just curious...

yeah I do find that is the kind of look I am "MOST" attracted to, for some reason, think it has ALOT to do with David's looks, what a HANDSOME creature... and funny he is much older now, but STILL very handsome and can still see "Hutch" in him lol... he's VERY distinguised now

  • This is absolutely wonderful. His voice then and now just mesmerizes me and calms my stress. Since he doesn't have much available on CD these and your other videos are great Thanks

  • I have always loved David's voice. It is so pure. I was and still am a very big Hutch fan. I have all the DVD's and watch them quit often. Love David Soul.

  • I love David singing this. Still one of my all time favourite singers, I love his voice.

  • My hubby tells me people said he looked liked Bjorn Bourg (tennis player) or the actor in Man from Uncle David McCullum (Eliah Kurachin) in the 70's.

But I have seen photos where he looks more like David Soul.

  • good, glad I could help... doesn't he look GREAT, "still"? hmmmm... like a FINE wine... wish he weren't married, I'd take a flight to UK, try to snag him up, LOL... yeah "I WISH"... lol

  • I have been on David Souls fansites and really enjoyed it, thanks.

  • I have been married now for 12 years and my hubby looked like David Soul in the 70's (but of course I didnt know him then)
