The Church of Christ adheres to a "Cut & Paste" theology. They assume that every time you see "baptism" written in the Bible it refers to "water baptism" and that is error. Clearly John the Baptist spoke of the difference- "I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I...He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire." Matt 3:11. They sing of Amazing Grace, but their legalistic salvation by "works" is not Grace at all, and it is far from Amazing.

Stone and Cambell started a Reformation.being our country isnt very old many from Europe and various countries in the Earth fleed to the United States and started a new Country and freedom of Religion.they went back to where the bible speaks and worship accordingly. You can trace the Church of Christ at the beginning of our Country and from there back all they way to 33 AD at the death burial Resurrection Of Jesus Christ.I Believe That God Had a Plan for the Start of This Great Nation to worship!

To whoever is watching this:
Norm edited some of this video. There was callers asking about the Gifts of the Spirit. You see this religion is a cult. Not of Jesus Christ. They cannot provide any proof where this religion was before the STONE>CAMPBELL MOVEment.
Campbelites

Dane, it is really sad to see how you have resorted to name calling since you were unable to defend your doctrine in an honest examination of the Scriptures.

Im not name calling. You have the nerve to call me a non-christian. That's name calling. A Campbelite is what defines your "DENOMINATION" Which you say you aren't a denomination. But however I do apoligize for getting down to your level. And thanks for your prayers

My showing that you are not a Christian is not name calling. Its a realization that you have not done what the Bible says to do in order to be a Christian. When you call me a Campbellite you are attempting to apply a term to me that you think will be offensive to me. My reference to you is out of concern for your spiritual condition but your reference to me is to be purposefully offensive. See the difference?
