If he fucks up, he's vulture meat. -Improvises and adapts to difficult situations, educating viewers. -Educates his viewers and shows real experience. -Doesn't have a piss fetish.

Grylls does NOT give accurate survival information AT ALL.

He drinks his own piss, of course, but he generally flails around, getting himself wet and risking hypothermia, does dumbass ledge jumps and shit for no reason, climbs down waterfalls..

Man vs Wild is like the WWE, it's entertaining and fun to watch, but it's all bullshit.

@Aentho I'm not knocking Les, I like his show and he's a knowledgeable guy but why bag Bear? He's the youngest Briton to climb Mt Everest, he passed selection to the SAS, had survival training in the SASR, does a lot for charity and heads the Scouts and inspires countless young people to get out there and do stuff. Plus I find his show more entertaining, its obvious to anyone whos not an idiot that not all the stuff he does should be tried in a survival situation.

@Aentho Grylls is a douche hound, but Les adores to wallow. he's always fucking moaning. moan moan moan. survival is about attitude. he knows he's going home in 7 days and he's still moaning all the time. if he is that miserable on day one he'd be a porkchop by the end of a fortnight. what you all need to do is get your heads out of your poopy hole and watch Ray Mears instead. the lovely Ray Mears is realistic. he whittles. he recreates and advises while having a jolly old time. love from R M

i fully agree, bear grylls is BS,he is jumping around ,running like a crazy risking breaking his legs is awy from a survival mode when you need to preserve your body temperature! another thing that i don t get is why he need to drink his pee ,when water is right there:in most of the situation are bushes or trees ,and he just need a plastic bag to stuff it with branches leaves wait coule of hours deendind on the temp outside and then pour the water from the botom in something to drink it !

@Aentho right on. one of the biggest differences is how Bear will run and race downhill in treacherous footing situations, for no apparent reason other than to show off. Yes it may be entertaining, but Les would be like 'wtf are you doing? if you snap an ankle out here you're dead!'

Bear Grylls is far from being a wimp. That being said, his methods are high risk and have no place in a survival situation. Les actually gives safe sound advise . Gotta give it to him.
