Snow plowing of westbound I-90 at night. Seen from the overpass at exit 42. The first plow pushes the snow to the next lane where it's picked up by the next plow and so on until it's pushed off the road. It's a very efficient way to clear the road.

  • Usually they are followed by salters and traffic control trucks or police cars to keep the traffic a distance away. That's what they do in Ontario.

  • Thats how we roll in WA

MN, they do the same, but far faster....

  • those are such a pain in the ass suretheyre clear the roads it just the go SLOW AS HELL!

  • man those trucks were slow....over here the plowers drive about 70kph (Sweden)

  • They could have gone alot faster then that.

Over here in Finland they plow at 60-70 kph.

That looked like 40kph if not 30.

Also they never hold the traffic up like that.

  • it's about the same system like in Germany: Here on the Autobahn, normally two snowplows (double-laned) drive like this, putting salt on the freeway at the same time. Different from what "mapleleafsforever" said is, that there's no police driving behind: other traffic keeps distance themselves

    great video!! 5 ***** + favo

  • whats the crime rate in ontario? is the state priviledged or summut?

  • Nice job guys/gals! I appreciate all that you do.
