This patient has disc degeneration in her neck and had nerve symptoms down her arm. I'm using Active Release Technique to free adhesions anywhere where the nerve can get pinched.

  • can this be done if you've had a neck decompression on levels C2,3,4,5,6,&7?? Looks like it would really help to loosen all these tight muscles,,but wondering if it's wise with all that bone gone in the neck

  • I would suggest you make a differential diagnosis between 'the neck' or 'peripheral neuropathy' rather than 'treat' blindly. If you were to diagnose 'peripheral neuropathy', I seriously doubt your ability to provide strong, randomised controlled trials to support the use of manual therapy.
