This patient has disc degeneration in her neck and had nerve symptoms down her arm. I'm using Active Release Technique to free adhesions anywhere where the nerve can get pinched.
can this be done if you've had a neck decompression on levels C2,3,4,5,6,&7?? Looks like it would really help to loosen all these tight muscles,,but wondering if it's wise with all that bone gone in the neck
I would suggest you make a differential diagnosis between 'the neck' or 'peripheral neuropathy' rather than 'treat' blindly. If you were to diagnose 'peripheral neuropathy', I seriously doubt your ability to provide strong, randomised controlled trials to support the use of manual therapy.
