This is me playing the Big Band classic, "In the Mood". This is my first video upload on YouTube and it's not the greatest quality. I'm actually playing without nails, while most fingerstyle songs require them. (I didn't feel like putting them on) However, I'll be sure to upload better videos of more songs later. Enjoy.

  • Thats the business!! Very impressed, love Glenn Miller and fingerstyle guitar. Now I'm in the the Mood!!

  • Impressive...it's tough to keep that bass line going with the melody. Jim

  • Great job!!

  • Very good! I notice that your version is much clearer than other's, NOT bad for the first time!!!!!! A+!!!!

  • If you aim like you play I don't want you aiming at me! Enjoyed it. subscibed because of it. Point that thing the other way, ok?

  • NIce playing I have to learn chords for this in jazz band

  • I used to play with nails, but they kept breaking, and also nails are difficult to maintain (especially when you play a sport such as volleyball) so now I'm trying to play without them. I find that I lose speed and accuracy and the sound produced is not that clean, and it's much more difficult to use some techniques such as tremolo. What's your experience playing without nails ? Any tips will be much appreciated.
