Meet the rabbits- Hazel and Shadow

These are the house rabbits- Hazel & Shadow. Hazel is the brown & white mini rex, and Shadow is the black mini lop.

Both of our rabbits came from our local humane society, credited at the end of the video.

Both rabbits are litter box trained, and make great pets. If you are considering adopting a bunny, please check your local shelter.

Additional thanks to Skyway Pet Hospital in Paradise, CA- Hazel has tooth issues and must have them trimmed once every 3 weeks.

@KJ91108 the house rabbit society's webpage has some tips, but essentially you keep them in a smaller space like their pen, they'll tend to pick one spot. You put some of their waste in the litter pan and put it in that spot. Once they are firmly established using that spot, you give them a little more space, and a little more space. For the entire space shown in this video, my rabbits only use the litter pan in their pen, but if they have access to many rooms you may need a few litter boxes.

Actually we are still working on bonding, thats why the whole video they are seperate. Bonding usually ends in growls and ugliness right now, but we are working on it. :)
